What PRMSC Actually Is
Worth knowing before you apply: PRMSC isn’t a typical government department. It’s a government-owned, not-for-profit company, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. It runs the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP), a World Bank-funded initiative operating across 16 selected tehsils of Punjab.
That structure matters practically — being SECP-registered rather than a straightforward government department can mean a different pay scale culture and hiring process feel than a typical BPS government post, even though positions here follow the PPS (Punjab Pay Scale) system.

- If you currently work in a government, semi-government, or autonomous organization, you must apply through proper channel with a valid NOC (No Objection Certificate). Applications without one — or with an expired NOC — won’t be entertained.
- All degrees must be from institutions recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Only shortlisted candidates get called for interview, and no TA/DA is paid for appearing in the test or interview.
- PRMSC has stated it may set its own shortlisting criteria and threshold marks if applications are high in number — so meeting the minimum qualification doesn’t guarantee an interview call.
- Female candidates are specifically encouraged to apply.
- The number of vacancies per post can be increased or decreased without prior notice, and PRMSC reserves the right to reject or cancel the process at any stage.
