Government College of Technology, Kot Addu, has advertised six positions for the 2026-27 academic session, published in Nawaiwaqt around August 21, 2026. Before you apply, there’s one fundamental thing to understand about how this hiring works.
This Isn’t a Permanent Appointment
Teaching faculty here are hired on a visiting basis, and non-teaching staff on daily wages — not as permanent BPS government employees. That distinction matters for how you should think about this opportunity: it’s session-based work tied to 2026-27, not a career-track government post with pension and permanence. If you’re comparing this against a permanent BPS teaching position elsewhere, weigh that trade-off before applying.

Two Different Domicile Rules in One Ad
Notice the split: teaching and lab roles accept candidates from anywhere in D.G. Khan Division, while the clerical and support roles are restricted to District Kot Addu specifically. If you’re outside Kot Addu district but within D.G. Khan Division, you’re eligible for the academic/technical posts but not the Junior Clerk, Mali, or Naib Qasid positions.
Registration Requirements You Shouldn’t Skip
For the Instructor and Lecturer posts specifically, a PEC/NTC registration certificate is required alongside your application. And if any of your qualifications were obtained from outside the standard system, an HEC equivalence letter is mandatory — the ad is explicit that this isn’t optional documentation.
