MTI Nowshera Jobs 2026 — Audiologist, Speech Therapist & Allied Health Posts

Medical Teaching Institution Nowshera (MTI, NSR) — which runs Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex and Nowshera Medical College — has advertised six specialized allied health positions on a contractual basis. The advertisement was published in The News on August 28, 2026.

The Domicile Rule Is Narrower Than “KP” — Read Carefully

This one’s easy to misread if you skim it: eligibility isn’t open to all Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile holders. Applications are invited specifically from candidates with domicile of KP’s Merged Districts (Erstwhile FATA) — a narrower category than general KP domicile. If your domicile is from a non-merged KP district, this particular listing likely isn’t open to you, regardless of qualification.

What MTI Nowshera Actually Is

MTI Nowshera operates as an autonomous body governed by a Board of Governors, established under the Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act of 2015 and amended over time by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. That autonomous structure is why recruitment here runs through ETEA rather than a standard provincial testing service — worth knowing if you’re used to a different process from other KP government job ads.

The ETEA Test Comes Before the Interview, Not Instead of It

Shortlisted candidates will first sit for a screening test conducted by ETEA (Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency). Passing that test doesn’t guarantee the job — MTI’s Appointing Authority still carries out detailed document scrutiny afterward, and can disqualify a candidate at that stage even after a passed test if their documents don’t hold up.

Since this recruitment runs through ETEA rather than a direct application, it’s worth browsing Paramedical Jobs regularly, as several KP health institutions currently use the same testing process for similar allied health posts

How to Apply — Through ETEA, With a Deposit Slip Process

This is a multi-step online process, not a simple form submission:

  1. Visit etea.edu.pk and apply online for your specific post(s)
  2. After submission, a prescribed deposit slip (with a token number, project code, and your personal details) will be generated
  3. Print the slip and deposit the non-refundable test fee through ETEA’s listed payment channels
  4. Keep your original deposit slip safe — you’ll need it during the recruitment process later

Do not send documents or testimonials to ETEA — those are only required from shortlisted candidates at the scrutiny stage, not upfront.

Deadline for online submission: September 10, 2026.

After You Apply

ETEA will notify shortlisted candidates by SMS, and Roll Number Slips must be downloaded and printed from etea.edu.pk — test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on that slip. No separate call letter will be issued.

Other Conditions

  • Candidates are provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test; eligibility is verified afterward, and ineligible candidates can be disqualified even post-test
  • Government/semi-government/autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview
  • No TA/DA is admissible for the test or interview
  • Original documents with one set of attested copies must be produced at interview
  • The Competent Authority can increase, decrease, or cancel the recruitment process for any post at any stage without giving a reason
