Water & Sanitation Services Company Dera Ismail Khan (WSSCD) has advertised seven senior contractual positions, published in Aaj on August 31, 2026. These aren’t entry-level roles — every post requires at least 16 years of education and multiple years of post-qualification experience.
What WSSCD Is
WSSCD was established by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 — a not-for-profit company structure, similar to other Section 42 entities we’ve covered before (like PIDE and JMC). That structure explains why WSSCD offers market-based salaries per its own Human Resource Manual rather than a fixed government BPS scale.
Positions & Eligibility
Manager Operations (Cadre M5)
- Qualification: Master’s/BE in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences (16 years, HEC recognized)
- Experience: 5 years post-qualification, including 3 years in senior operational management and 3 years in the WATSAN sector
- Age: 35–45
Manager Finance (Cadre M5)
- Qualification: CA, ICMA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, MBA (Finance), BBA Hons (Finance), or Master’s in Finance (16 years, HEC recognized)
- Experience: 5 years post-qualification in any international, national, public, or private organization
- Age: 35–45
Manager Projects, Planning & Works (Cadre M5)
- Qualification: BSc Civil Engineering (16 years, HEC recognized, PEC registered)
- Experience: 5 years post-qualification in international, national, public, or private organization projects
- Age: 35–45
Assistant Manager Procurement (Cadre M7)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, or Engineering (16 years, HEC recognized)
- Experience: 3 years in procurement, contract management, supply chain, or logistics; KPPRA/PPRA Rules experience preferred
- Age: 27–40
Assistant Manager Solid Waste Management (Cadre M7)
- Qualification: Master’s/BE in Civil/Environmental Engineering or MSc Environmental Sciences (16 years, HEC recognized)
- Experience: 3 years post-qualification; solid waste management project experience preferred
- Age: 27–40
Assistant Manager Waste Water (Cadre M7)
- Qualification: BSc Civil Engineering (4-year degree) or MSc Environmental Sciences (HEC recognized)
- Experience: 3 years post-qualification in planning, execution, and O&M of Water Supply & Sanitation projects
- Age: 27–40
IT Officer (Cadre M8)
- Qualification: BCS, BIT, or MCS (16 years, HEC recognized); MCSE/CCNA certification an advantage
- Experience: 2 years post-qualification, international/national/public/private organization
- Age: 27–36

How WSSCD Actually Scores Your Application
This is worth understanding before you apply, since it changes how much weight your extra qualifications carry: WSSCD uses a fixed 100-point evaluation formula — 50 points for education (40 for meeting the minimum 16-year requirement, plus up to 10 more if you hold 18-year or 18+ year qualifications), 20 points for experience, and 30 points for the interview/presentation. In practice, this means a candidate with an 18-year degree has a built-in scoring edge over one with exactly 16 years, even before the interview stage — worth factoring in if you’re deciding whether to apply now or wait until you’ve completed a higher qualification.

Other Conditions
- Candidates with Dera Ismail Khan domicile will be given preference, though this isn’t stated as an absolute requirement
