Punjab Daanish Schools & Centres of Excellence Authority has advertised three teaching positions at the Centre of Excellence (Boys & Girls), Muzaffargarh. The notice was published in Express around September 19, 2026.
Check Which Campus and Gender Each Subject Actually Needs
This is the detail that will disqualify an otherwise-qualified applicant if missed: each subject here is tied to a specific campus and gender, not open across both.
- General Science — Boys Campus, 1 post, male only
- Pak Studies — Boys Campus, 1 post, male only
- Chemistry — Girls Campus, 1 post, female only
A qualified female chemistry teacher can’t apply for the General Science post at the Boys Campus, and a qualified male chemistry teacher isn’t eligible here at all — since the only Chemistry seat sits at the Girls Campus, reserved for a female candidate. Read the campus/gender column carefully before assuming your subject match is enough.
The CGPA Requirement Is Oddly Specific — Worth Reading Twice
Most ads just ask for a minimum division. This one adds a precise CGPA clause: where your degree prescribes CGPA instead of a division, only 2.50 out of 4.0, or 3.50 out of 5.0, will be accepted. If your transcript uses a CGPA scale rather than a percentage/division, check your exact GPA against this threshold rather than assuming a “good enough” GPA clears the bar.
Qualification Details
General Science (OG-I) — Master’s/BS/BSc(Hons)/BA(Hons) in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry, minimum 2nd division or the CGPA equivalent above, HEC-recognized institution. M.Ed/B.Ed gives added advantage.
Pak Studies (OG-I) — Master’s/BS/BSc(Hons)/BA(Hons) in History, Social Studies, Pakistan Studies, International Relations, or Political Science, same division/CGPA standard. M.Ed/B.Ed gives added advantage.
Chemistry (OG-I) — Master’s/BS/BSc(Hons)/BA(Hons) in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry, same division/CGPA standard. M.Ed/B.Ed gives added advantage.
General requirements across all three: upper age limit of 45 years, preferably with teaching experience at a reputed institution, good English communication and socio-affective skills, and a well-groomed, progressive personality.
Applying to Muzaffargarh Doesn’t Guarantee You Stay There
Even though this ad is specifically for the Muzaffargarh campus, selected candidates can be transferred or posted to any Centre of Excellence school located anywhere in Punjab Province. If you’re applying because you specifically want to work in Muzaffargarh, know that placement isn’t guaranteed to stay local.
