The Three Posts
Head Clerk
- Qualification: BA or BSc
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in accounts and clerical work
- Age: Maximum 50 years
- Preference: Retired Army JCO/NCO from the ex-Clerical Corps, or civilian candidates with the requisite qualification and experience
Junior Clerk
- Qualification: FA/FSc, plus a Computer Diploma
- Experience: 5 years in office work, or a retired Army Clerk
Machinist
- Qualification: FA/FSc, plus a Computer Diploma
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience
Notably, the Head Clerk post carries the highest experience bar and an explicit age ceiling, while Junior Clerk and Machinist share the same educational requirement but need different types of experience. So, if you hold a Computer Diploma alongside FA/FSc, check both posts carefully since your qualification alone doesn’t tell you which role fits.
