Frequency Allocation Board is looking for candidates for Assistant Directors and Assistant posts for the “Establishment of Islamabad Monitoring Station Housing FAB HQ’s Building”. These jobs are available on contract basis as per the project pay package admissible for the PSDP-funded project staff. Initially, the contract will be awarded for a period of two year which can be further extended till the life of project.
Assistant Director(Civil) is PPS-07 post. Qualification and experience required for Assistant Director(Civil) posts is BSc. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University with minimum 2 years field experience in Construction/ Planning construction activity and proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel and Primavera – P6. Candidate must be max 32 years old. Assistant Director(MEP) is PPS-07 post. Qualification and experience required for Assistant Director(MEP) posts is BSc. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized University with minimum 2 years hand on experience in MEP/HVAC works on multi-storey buildings and proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Candidate must be max 32 years old.
Assistant Director(Contract/ Planning Engineer) is PPS-07 post. Qualification and experience required for Assistant Director(Contract/ Planning Engineer) posts is BSc. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University with minimum 2 years field experience in Construction/ Planning construction activity and proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel and Primavera – P6. Candidate must be max 32 years old. Assistant is PPS-04 post. Qualification and experience required for Assistant Director(Contract/ Planning Engineer) posts is BSc. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University with minimum 2 years field experience in BA/BSC/B.com with minimum 2 years experience in Govt or Private sectors and have excellent knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Power Point. Candidate must be max 32 years old.
The Frequency Allocation Board is responsible for deciding which radio frequencies different wireless networks can use. They use tools to manage and organize the spectrum, create or review plans for how the frequency spectrum should be used nationally, and find ways to use it more efficiently. They also coordinate with other countries for satellite and land-based communication networks. Additionally, they monitor the spectrum to detect any unauthorized wireless stations and make sure all wireless installations in the country are approved.
