HEC Public Alert about Fake Agents for Attestation of Degrees

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued a public alert, cautioning students and parents about fraudulent degree attestation agents falsely claiming association with HEC. The commission advises vigilance against individuals posing as “agents” offering assistance in attesting degrees and transcripts. Some deceptive agents affix fake HEC stamps on genuine documents, deceiving applicants. Degrees and transcripts with counterfeit stamps risk confiscation upon submission to HEC. The commission urges everyone to exercise utmost caution, adhering to the prescribed attestation procedure and avoiding involvement with potentially deceptive agents. Students and parents are reminded to be wary of such scams and prioritize authentic channels for document attestation to safeguard against potential risks and losses.
