PMDC Islamabad Management Trainee Programme 2026

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) — a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan — has announced its Management Trainee Programme for 2026, offering two positions: Management Trainee (Sales & Marketing) and Management Trainee (Legal). The advertisement, reference PID(I)2846/26, was published in daily Express on 27 September 2026.

One point is essential to understand before applying: this is not a regular job. The ad states explicitly that the Management Training Program is a one-year contractual engagement that does not constitute an employer-employee relationship, and there is no obligation on PMDC to offer regular employment to trainees upon completion of the training period. Candidates should apply with this understood clearly — it’s a structured, paid training opportunity for young professionals, not a guaranteed pathway into permanent PMDC employment.

Selected candidates will be paid a lumpsum monthly stipend of PKR 80,000/- during the training period — worth noting this is described as a stipend, consistent with the training (not employment) nature of the programme.
