Why the Quota Split Matters
Only the Computer Operator posts carry reserved quotas. One goes to a woman, and the other goes to a minority candidate. However, the Assistant and Stenographer posts stay open merit. So, check which quota fits you before you pay any fee.

How the ETEA Application Works
The process has several steps, and skipping one can cost you the application.
First, create a profile on www.etea.edu.pk. Then print the Sahulat-e NADRA token from the site. Next, get your CNIC verified at a NADRA franchise or kiosk. Without this verification, you can’t apply for any post.
After that, submit the online form. ETEA then generates a deposit slip with your token number and project code. Pay the test fee at any UBL branch, or through the Easypaisa app or an agent. The ad doesn’t state the fee amount, so check it on your deposit slip.
Keep the bank-stamped candidate copy of the slip safe. You don’t need to send documents to ETEA now. Only candidates who pass the screening test will be asked for them.
Conditions Worth Knowing
- ETEA lets you sit the screening test provisionally. Detailed scrutiny follows later.
- Any candidate found ineligible at any stage is disqualified.
- The department calculates age as of January 1, 2026, with relaxation under the rules.
- Government and semi-government employees must attach a No Objection Certificate.
- Foreign degrees need an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Fake or unverified documents make you ineligible.
- No TA/DA applies for the test or interview.
- These are temporary posts, and pay follows the applicable rules.

Important Dates
The online form opens on October 1, 2026. The last date to submit is October 30, 2026. ETEA will send an SMS with roll number details. Download your roll number slip from the ETEA site, because it shows the test date, time, and venue. No separate call letter will be issued.
Deadline: October 30, 2026.
